Chicken Parmesan
My husband and I had a delicious, delightful time at MeMe's.My husband had the Chicken Parm he truly enjoyed every bite with plenty of leftovers to take home.The chicken was breaded perfectly with a flavorful red sauce served over angel hair pasta.I had the Osso Bucco wasn't sure what to expect since I had never had the dish before.Wasn't disappointed,braised pork shank was flavored nicely with a nice rich sauce over the polenta.Let's not forget the chargrilled oysters on point.Wrapped up with bread pudding and a brownie sundae.The bread pudding according to my husband was light and delicious.And last of all the wait staff were all very lovely.The gentleman at the front,Isabelle (our waitress!!!)all the folks who brought out our dishes.We hope to make MeMe's part of our future dining experience!!!Thank you Henry/Doris
Chargrilled Oysters
MeMe's chargrilled oysters are smoky, buttery, and packed with bold garlic flavor, with perfectly caramelized edges and a tender, briny center. Rich without being overwhelming, they're warm, savory, and completely crave worthy. A must-order every time.
Cheeseburger
The burgers from meme's are always consistent, fresh tasting and an amazing price for the size of the burger!! This is a lunch favorite!
Chargrilled Oysters
Everything we ordered was so balanced and when paired with their white wine, just perfect. The steak was cooked perfect and the snowball martini was a nice touch. Customer service was excellent!
White Chocolate Bread Pudding
I absolutely love the bread pudding! It's fresh and served warm every time I dine in! The ambiance is warm and welcoming! The staff is always great! And the oysters are always delicious! The bread pudding is my favorite though!
Chargrilled Oysters
I loveee the oysters. They are some of the best ones I've ever had throughout the entire New Orleans metropolitan and I'm happy it's right here in Chalmette. I recommend MeMe's to so many people!
Meme's White Chocolate Bread Pudding
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Memes for lunch, and it was an experience worth raving about! I was greeted immediately by the hostess who walked me over to the bar where Tyler, the manager, welcomed me to the bar. He is friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and all the details. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the gumbo with andouille sausage. It was nothing short of phenomenal! The rich, smoky flavors of the sausage complemented the perfectly spiced broth, creating a comforting and satisfying dish that warmed my soul. Following that, I indulged in the pulled pork sandwich, which was an absolute delight. The pork was tender and well-seasoned, practically melting in my mouth. The addition of slaw added a refreshing crunch that balanced the richness of the meat, making every bite a flavorful experience. To wash it all down, I opted for a sangria with blueberry, and let me tell you, it was divine! The fruity notes were refreshing and perfectly complemented my meal, making it a delightful pairing. Overall, my lunch at Memes was truly spectacular. The combination of bold flavors and expertly crafted dishes made for an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu! Highly recommended! I will absolutely come back and invite others to join.
Steak Frites
Steak was super tender and very well seasoned!!! The combination Oysters was awesome!!! Will definitely be coming back for dinner and Happy Hour as well! Great service and nice atmosphere especially at night. Superb Job!!!
